Lord knows that our mayor wants to make this happen and get past the sex scandel. Speaking of that, some folks think its gonna hurt his chances politically...whatever. The guy is a shoe-in for the rest of his life. I still think the bastard will make it, based on his $$...ha!

You can be sure all of opponents will be coming down from from the trees to pick as much as they can from this. Sex scandals are the signature American red herring which distracts us from something else that probably needs to be seen. I will continue to care more about his ability to be the mayor, not whether or not I trust him around my wife. It's not like he broke the law. I don't know the details of the probably sordid story, nor do I really care to. That is Gavin's grim and embarrassing business for him, his friends and his family to deal with, not for me.
